   Proposal Description:
   This study will examine predictors of motor symptom progression in a cohort of individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Participants will be examined across visits. A control group will be matched to the Parkinson's disease group at the initial visit on age, sex, education, and MMSE score. Data from subsequent visits will be used to identify a subset of Parkinson's disease individuals demonstrating motor decline measured by UPDRS score. We hypothesize that early cognitive disturbances and depression will adversely impact motor symptom progression in PD.
